Pain that won't stop, keeps you up at night, or is worsening.

For life-threatening emergencies:
If you have uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing, severe facial swelling spreading to the eye or neck, go directly to the nearest emergency room.

Where should you go?
We can usually treat in-office:
- Toothaches and dental pain
- Broken or chipped teeth
- Lost crowns and fillings
- Knocked-out teeth (within 30–60 min)
- Most abscesses and oral infections
Go to the ER first if:
- Facial trauma with uncontrollable bleeding
- Possible jaw fracture
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Severe facial swelling spreading to eye or neck
- Loss of consciousness from injury
Cost during an emergency
Emergency exam fees apply. We file insurance for emergency visits and discuss treatment cost transparently before any work begins. We will never start non-emergency treatment without your consent and a written estimate.

Do you charge more for same-day emergency visits?
A standard emergency exam fee applies. The treatment itself is billed at our normal rates — no emergency upcharges.
Will my insurance cover an emergency visit?
Most dental insurance covers emergency exams and basic treatment. We'll verify before billing.
Can I just walk in?
